Made of Screens sets Strictly Necessary cookies (session, security, load-balancing, and your language preference) at all times, and — only with your consent — Analytics cookies, described in section 2.3. We do not set any Functional or Marketing cookies today; if we introduce them in the future, no such cookie will be set until you have explicitly consented to it through the cookie preferences tool described in section 4.1.
These cookies are essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. They are set in response to actions you take, such as logging in, setting privacy preferences, or filling in forms.
We do not set any Functional cookies today. If we introduce optional personalization features that rely on them in the future, they will only be set after you opt in through the cookie preferences tool.
We use PostHog, a product analytics provider whose servers for this account are located in the European Union, to understand how the Service is used in aggregate. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent to this category through the cookie preferences tool — they are never set by default.
We deliberately limit what this collects: a fixed set of product events (e.g. logging a diary entry, publishing a review, creating a list, following someone, joining a club, starting a checkout) rather than every click or keystroke.
The analytics cookie is a first-party cookie, valid for up to 180 days, and is only readable by Made of Screens and PostHog.
We do not set any Marketing cookies today. We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising or to sell your data to advertisers. If this ever changes, those cookies will only be set after you opt in through the cookie preferences tool.

The cookie preferences tool above is the intended way to opt in or out of Analytics cookies at any time. We do not use Google Analytics or any advertising network, so their respective opt-out tools do not apply to this Service.
